this might be a noob question

can i also wear secondary profession armour?

do you think it would be nice if they have unified armour depends on what professions you choose?
for example...
anyone can wear "armour x" if you have monk and elementalist as your professions(primary or secondary won't effect)

so..ill have 3 choices when choosing armour...for monk/elementalist
-wear monk dress to boost my monk stats only
-wear elementalist armour to boost my elementalist stats
-wear unified armour to boost both.

i think this will add more diversity in character looking...
and when it comes to PvP....opponents will not be able to figure out if im primary monk(if i wear elementalist, or unified armour)
hence targetting monk first would be somewhat reduced in PvP.

does monk has any alternative than tattoo?
I dont really prefer having tattoo on my character

You can only wear armors of your primary profession.

The idea of armor that different groups can wear is cool, but I think the game needs a few pieces of Generic everyone can use it, buts its not real great armor.

No, all armor is determined by primary professions. If you're a Monk/Elementalist you craft and wear Monk armor. If you're an Elementalist/Monk you craft and wear Elementalist armor. Since all armor is personalized to a character when it's made you can't get someone to trade you a different style of armor even if you could wear it so you're stuck with the choices of your first profession.

It's an interesting idea. It would serve to further separate and diversify a Monk/Elementalist from a Monk/Mesmer or whatever else. And maybe we can see something like that in an expansion. But I don't think it's in the works for the initial release.

Yes. A Monk has about six or seven choices or armor, a few of those are tattoos but the rest aren't. Monk headgear is always a scalp tattoo, although I believe you can hide it with the right hairstyle.

I think I could see tattoo on my head regardless of what kind of hairstyle i choose. it is just that some hearstyle will cover most(like 90%) of tattoo, but still can be seen.

some cool headband or hood for monk would be nice as alternatives for people who dont prefer tattoo on their character.

you can see a bit of the tattoo under your hairline. you can always dye it, so in theory you can mix a dye that matches your skin tone and hide the tattoo..
